6,113 spectators arrived for “Family Day” on December 7th in the Nuremberg Arena to experience the home game of the THOMAS SABO Ice Tigers against the Kölner Haie (Cologne Sharks). And none of them is likely to have regretted this. The Ice Tigers fought back in the final third with a superior team performance and won in the end with 4: 3 after penalty shootout. Thus the stage for the Teddy Bear Toss was perfectly prepared: About 2,680 stuffed animals flew onto the ice, an outstanding action from the cheering crowd. THOMAS SABO donated € 1 for each stuffed animals to the "The Beck Children's Foundation" and rounded up the amount at the end to 10,000 €.
