Snowboarder Amelie Kober was able to celebrate in style at the weekend: the 25-year-old was able to secure herself her twelfth World Cup victory at her first race of the season in the Austrian resort of Bad Gastein. In the parallel slalom discipline, she battled her way to the top of the rankings, securing herself an outstanding first place – the perfect prerequisite for the World Cup event in Canada at the end of January.
