Terms and Conditions of the Getaway Competition

§1 Organiser of the competition

2. The information provided will be used for the purposes of running the competition. Furthermore, THOMAS SABO uses the data exclusively for its own marketing purposes. The data will not be passed on to third parties for other purposes (e.g. third-party marketing purposes). All questions, comments or complaints regarding the competition must be addressed to us exclusively by email to service@thomassabo.com or via the contact form.

§2 Participation in the competition

1. To enter the competition, users must have successfully signed up for the THOMAS SABO newsletter as part of the competition or hold an active THOMAS SABO newsletter subscription, and must have made a purchase from THOMAS SABO between 9 April 2026 and 10 May 2026. Participants who are already members of the THOMAS SABO Privilege Club before the start of the competition and make a purchase during the promotional period will automatically receive a double chance of winning in the prize draw.

A condition of entry to the competition is that the purchase made during the entry period is not cancelled or returned within the statutory or voluntary 30-day return period.

If the order is returned or cancelled within this period, the participant in question will be excluded from the competition or will lose any entry entitlement already acquired.

All participants in the competition have the chance to win the main prize (entry into a prize draw for a hotel voucher). This will be raffled off among the participants once the competition has ended. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible participants once the competition has ended. The draw is expected to take place by mid or late June 2026, taking into account the 30-day return period. The winner will be notified via the email address provided during the competition. The winner has seven working days to respond, providing their postal address. The prize will be sent to the address provided. The prize will be forfeited if it cannot be dispatched following the initial notification for reasons attributable to the participant. The participant is responsible for ensuring that the details provided are accurate and up to date. Persons who are under the age of 18 at the time of entry or who are considered to be under the age of majority in their respective country of residence are not eligible to enter the competition. Furthermore, legal representatives and employees of THOMAS SABO, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.

§3 Exclusion from participation

THOMAS SABO is entitled to exclude participants from the competition without prior notice if they do not meet the requirements set out in §2 or if they manipulate the competition, in particular the entry process, or attempt to do so, and/or culpably breach the rules of participation. In particular, the following attempts at manipulation and breaches justify exclusion: multiple entries using different email addresses, registration via a provider whose business purpose includes, amongst other things, the manipulation of competitions, and participation via third parties (intermediaries, bulk entries, etc.).

§4 Cancellation of the competition

THOMAS SABO reserves the right to cancel the competition in whole or in part (for example, for certain prizes or special draws). This applies in particular if the competition cannot proceed as planned, for example in the event of computer viruses, software and/or hardware faults and/or other technical reasons that result in a significant disruption. This also applies in the event that the conduct of the competition is significantly impeded or precluded for legal reasons, as well as in the event of manipulation or attempted manipulation that affects the administration, security, integrity and/or the regular and proper conduct of the prize draw.

§5 Data processing in connection with the competition

THOMAS SABO collects and stores the first names, surnames and email addresses of participants, as well as their postal addresses where necessary for the dispatch of prizes. The data is used to determine the winner and to notify the winner. Furthermore, THOMAS SABO uses the data exclusively for its own marketing purposes. The data will not be passed on to third parties for other purposes (e.g. third-party marketing purposes). By entering, the participant agrees that the name provided for the competition may be published once in connection with the competition on the THOMAS SABO website and the social media channels used by THOMAS SABO. The data will be processed exclusively in accordance with THOMAS SABO’s privacy policy.

§6 Prize and Redemption

The prize consists of a hotel voucher. The winner must book and redeem the hotel stay directly with the relevant hotel.

The voucher:

• cannot be exchanged for cash

• is non-transferable

• cannot be replaced if lost or stolen

If the voucher number or barcode is illegible, the voucher cannot be redeemed. Any travel or incidental costs associated with redeeming the prize (e.g. journey to and from the destination, transfers, meals or additional services) will be covered up to a total of 1.000 £. The winner must initially pay the travel costs themselves. A refund will only be made retrospectively upon presentation of valid, original receipts issued in the name of the winner (e.g. invoices, tickets). Only necessary and reasonable travel costs are eligible for reimbursement (e.g. travel to and from the event by 2nd class train or economy class flight). In particular, meal costs, insurance, cancellation fees and other personal expenses are not eligible for reimbursement, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

§7 Disclaimer

Any liability for damages on the part of THOMAS SABO and its officers, employees and agents arising from or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal basis, is, to the extent permitted by law, limited solely to cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

§8 Governing Law

All legal relationships arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy shall be governed exclusively by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
