How can I take advantage of the THOMAS SABO repair service?

We hope that you are completely satisfied with your THOMAS SABO products.

Should a product be faulty or damaged, we will check whether statutory rights in respect of defects (warranty) apply or whether a repair subject to a charge is possible. For purchases made on or after 1 August 2026, THOMAS SABO does not provide a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. Any warranty already granted for earlier purchases will remain in force in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions applicable at the time of purchase.

In advance as a small note for you, a repair can take about 4-6 weeks from the time it is accepted.

If you would like to use our repair service, you can hand over the defective piece of jewellery at all THOMAS SABO own stores (except THOMAS SABO Outlets.) or send it directly to us.

In the event of a potential statutory defect, please contact our Customer Service or a THOMAS SABO retail outlet before returning the item. Before we carry out statutory rectification, we will inform you of your right to choose between repair and replacement. If the rectification takes the form of a repair, the original limitation period for claims for defects will be extended once by twelve months.

If you would like to return defective goods directly to us for repair, please proceed as follows:

  1. Fill in the service form and note the return reason as well as the return quantity.
  2. Place the goods to be returned as well as the service form in the package and pack it safely.
  3. Please include proof of purchase with your return where possible, particularly if the item was not purchased via our online shop. This helps us to identify the date of purchase and the seller, and to assess your statutory rights in respect of defects.
  4. Please agree on the delivery method with our Customer Service team in advance. In the case of statutory claims for defects, the statutory rules on the allocation of costs apply. For repairs subject to a charge that fall outside the scope of statutory liability for defects, you will be responsible for the cost of posting the item. Please send the item securely packed and in a traceable parcel to the following address:

THOMAS SABO GmbH & Co. KG

  1. Please keep the shipping receipt well for any queries. We are liable for damage, loss or theft during transport organised by you in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Further important information:

  • We will repair faulty THOMAS SABO jewellery items for which no claims under statutory liability for defects apply – provided this is possible in our professional judgement – subject to a charge.
  • A repair subject to a charge is only possible if the item can be repaired professionally and the necessary spare parts are available. Previous repairs, alterations or additions carried out by third parties will only preclude this service if they prevent the item from being repaired professionally or if the damage to be repaired was caused by such work.
  • We have a supply of stones and other components for the repair of items from older collections. However, we are not able to guarantee the replacement of all parts.
  • If a repair subject to a charge is not possible or would be disproportionate, we will inform you accordingly. Any replacement will be agreed with you on a case-by-case basis.
  • THOMAS SABO does not have fixed repair prices. You will receive a non-binding quote and can then decide whether and which repairs should be carried out.
  • In the case of a repair subject to a charge, the costs for return postage, as notified in advance, may also apply. These costs may also arise if you do not accept the repair quote.
