With a donation of around 200,000 euros, THOMAS SABO is once again supporting the RTL Charity Marathon this year through the sale of an exclusively designed charity bracelet. The donations will be used to build four residential homes for the pupils of the ‘My Gakidh Village School’ in Bhutan, so that they have safe accommodation and no longer have to make the life-threatening journey to and from school in the Himalayan mountain region.
Since 1996, the media company RTL has broadcast the annual RTL charity marathon, which raises funds for the ‘Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e. V.’ foundation, which distributes the money to selected German and international children's aid projects. THOMAS SABO has been involved in this initiative for almost 20 years with an exclusive charity bracelet.
‘We must invest in the children of Bhutan because they are the future of this wonderful country full of tradition and culture. And education is the future!’ says company founder Thomas Sabo.
