NEW YORK - FLAGSHIP STORE MANAGER
In August 2016 THOMAS SABO will open the first stand-alone shop in New York and we are looking for someone who will live the brand and create an even stronger image in New York.
THE EXCITING AND CHALLENGING ROLE

As our Flagship Store Manager, you will be responsible for making your store “the greatest success story” through acute commercial awareness and inspirational leadership.
You will ensure that assigned store productivity, sales and profitability goals are achieved and exceeded.
You will accomplish and maintain for your store to be an energizing, fulfilling as well as happy environment to work in. From the way the store looks, to the way the staff present the brand, to the targets that are set; every aspect should look immaculate and be achieved with enthusiasm and pride.
You will consistently demonstrate a passion for the business and the role. As such, you will maintain and develop a premium environment with the highest retail standards and you will ensure that the entire team is demonstrating standards at the highest end of premium retail.
You will represent the brand THOMAS SABO and therefore, we require you to maintain the highest standards in all activities of daily, weekly and monthly tasks. The daily activities range from performing store processes such as inventory and deliveries to minimize risks and costs for the company. You will be expected to grow both personally and professionally in this dynamic workplace.
The full time role consists of carrying out a number of tasks and responsibilities. They are amongst others to:
- Leadership of the team by model and takeover of the full responsibility for the team and its work
- Sell Thomas Sabo-Products and their care
- Consultation of the customers, handling of orders, treatment of complaints and arrangement of customer files
- Maximum presence in the salesrooms to serve customers and to supervise the team
- Cash handling incl. everyday end of day accounting and preparatory measures for accounting
- Execution of smart cleaning work
- Recruitment, guidance, development and sustained management of a professional team according to the locally applying HR-directives
- Guidance of an annual employee's assessment with every team member under orientation towards the directives given by HR
- Care of the Visual Merchandising in accordance with company directives as well as maintenance of a qualitatively high-quality and attractive optical appearance of the products and the net curtain according to Thomas Sabo-Standards
- Analysis, planning and order of the assortment and stock by the established company directives, and information according to management requirements
- Planning, preparation and organization of annual (or semi-annual) stock takings. Realization of stock controls and management of camp data to the minimization of camp losses
- Active participation in sales and collection trainings as well as other advanced training measures and passing on acquired knowledge to the sales force

To be successful in this role, you need at least:
- concluded education in retail trade or hotel business
- experience in the Retail area
- management experience: Performance management and staff-coaching; commercial planning, commercial organization,-controlling and analysis, leadership, networling
- good understanding for stock management and Visual Merchandising
- English as mother tongue or fluently
